Some of you may recall Jessica from her Senior Session back in August 2010 — such a beautiful girl inside and out! When she called me for her portfolio shoot I knew we were going to have fun and get some wonderful images. We spent the afternoon with Erin (an amazing stylist here in Kansas City) and played dress-up with some gorgeous items from Hemline. Also a big thank you to Stacey Schmitz for letting us use the Prairie Room for a home-base and shooting-space. It was perfect!
Lara is a talented writer, with a TON of personality — so when she asked me about getting some images done for her website I was PUMPED! I knew it was going to be a blast, and it was. She was up for all of my crazy ideas, and when one location was bulldozed (literally, it was just GONE) we just wandered around and found some better ones! Thanks Lara!
You know football — but did you know there is a Women’s Professional League of Football? Not long ago I flew out to Nashville, TN to watch my great friend play a serious game of football with the Chattanooga Locomotion.
Schandra and I became great friends our senior year of high school (yes, 1998) and after graduation went our own ways to school. But through all the moving/life changes, we have remained close friends. I always know when I go see her, or if she is in KC we will instantly pick-up where we left off. She is an incredible person, that people want to be around. Not to mention an AMAZING athlete… 
I am by no means a Sports Photographer — especially when my auto-focus on my lens decided to not work this particular night. Manual-focusing sports-action!!?? Yeah…but I will have a slideshow up of TONS of images as soon as one of the players gets me their Team Song. Great stuff to see!

I love working with families…especially when they are a family full of so much love like the “E”‘s. It is amazing to me how much Elorah has changed since the first session with this family back in 2007! Dad explained to me that she has been called “the most polite little one” and she certainly is. Her eyes are so intelligent and calm at the same time — and she was a little bundle of energy for me. I love that Mom and Dad wore their bracelets for Isabelle as well — I will never forget the little Princess. And the great news, is they are going to be welcoming a baby BOY into their family soon! Congratulations to this incredible family, and enjoy their Blogshow right here!

Last week I had the absolute pleasure of working with Wendy Ho — and we had a heckuva time at her photo shoot! Wendy is a talented comedian/actress/singer based in NYC, and her material is NOT for the faint-of-heart. ADULT MATERIAL FOR SURE! Wendy herself came up with the concepts for all of the “looks” she wanted — it was all centered around the “Ho” being in the suburbs. A few hours later, I had a couple full memory cards and a TON of great shots. This girl knows how to work it for the camera for sure — and we laughed together the whole time!
