When Aurelia contacted me, she knew that I was not available for her wedding date — but I was so thrilled when she mentioned she wanted a Day-After session (where you put your wedding clothes back on a few days after the ceremony for some relaxed images)!  And to make it better, she wanted to end it with a “Trash the Dress” feel involving a Kansas City fountain.  Jubal even joined in the fun and soaked his wedding-suit!  We had a blast on this warm day in KC despite the fact that I locked my keys in my trunk the moment I arrived — thanks again to Dave for coming to get me with the spare key!!

Well the day is finally here — Amy and Ryan’s wedding day!  That means, that it is safe to post her Bridal Portrait from the beginning of the month.  The day was REALLY hot — and we walked around the entire Nelson Art Gallery.  She was SO amazing to work with, and her sister came along to assist as well.  I started working with Amy, and immediately realized that she had a background in dance.  That just made my DAY!  Those graceful arms and hands — she was perfect.  The wind whipped through her dress at a few locations and it could not have been planned better!  Enough with the talk — images!

I happen to bring along this little hair-piece, and once we were done with all of the bridals I KNEW she would be perfect for something a little bit different…she nailed it!  Better than I ever could have imagined…check her out!

So I have been shooting some things that cannot be posted on this blog — but that doesn’t mean that I am not completely excited about them!  One is a boudoir session — and she TOTALLY rocked it…

And next was a bridal session — but we have to wait until AFTER her wedding to post those.  But not to worry, her wedding is coming up soon!  I cannot wait to show you some of these, because Mother Nature was definitely helping me to get some amazing shots.  Can you say wind? :)  Cannot wait!

All of these sessions are on the way, and I am shooting the wedding of Sara and Jeff tomorrow!!!  Gotta love those Friday weddings…
