Jennifer + Keith | Wedding Day

Jennifer and Keith were married on a Winter February Day, and they incorporated wonderful Korean elements to really make their wedding special!  I loved how relaxed these two were, and they trusted me to find locations around their church to capture all of the images  beforehand…including a sweet First Moment.  It was cold — very cold — but Jennifer knew that the cold was temporary and the images are forever!  I cannot wait for you all to see the images, especially from the tea ceremony.  The colors were out-of-this-world stunning…

Enjoy their Slideshow here, set to their first dance song!

Lia + Nate | the Wedding Day

My first wedding of 2010 — started off with a fantastic couple, Lia and Nate!

The day started at Lia’s parent’s home where the girls were getting hair/make-up done, and helping Lia get to the church.  After the ceremony, Lia was ready for everything that I had in mind.  “I know the dress will be getting dirty, and it is worth it for the images!” — a dream-bride right?!  We managed to walk around a few places, and kept that dress in really good shape after all. :)

The weather was COLD, and when I say they toughed it out that would not tell you enough.  I brought along leg-warmers for the girls to put on under their dresses, and some  boots for Lia to wear so we would not ruin her ballroom shoes in the snow.  Did I mention she scaled a fence in her dress for me to get to a spot with great light?  INCREDIBLE!  Nate & Lia are just so wonderful and sweet to one another, it was great to capture that kind of love.  Enjoy the SLIDESHOW HERE, and lots of favorites below!

There is one image in the slideshow, that is old-style Glamour-inspired.  The post-processing is totally different than usual, but I love the look and feel — Lia really pulled it off with the look…you will know which one it is! :)

I LOVE the one that you finished differently, and yes, it is totally obvious. It’s super cool and I’m jealous!

Surprise!

I wanted to wait until the packages had made it to my 2009 Brides (all except Vanessa, who will be getting hers next week with her wedding stuff!) — but I wanted to get something for you that celebrated the season, and the fact that it is your first Christmas as husband and wife!  These are custom holiday ornaments, featuring their names and a variation on “christmas 2009″ (depending on the # of characters remaining).  They are hand stamped, and I couldn’t resist!

Have a wonderful holiday together!

Vanessa + Chris | Wedding

What an amazing wedding to end the 2009 year — every detail was thought of, and put together with such amazing care.  Vanessa was a stunning bride, who incorporated a bit of vintage flair throughout the wedding day.  The birdcage veil (swoon!), the vintage wrap (found from a woman who wore it to her prom in 1954), and a reception venue that could not have fit the theme better.  Chris and Vanessa were some of the most wonderful people to work with — and have incredible hearts.  Such great people who truly belong to each other!  They really made photographs a priority on their wedding day, and for that I must thank them.  I processed these images with an old-world feeling to really enhance the setting, and love the result.  Enough of me talking — I am so excited for these images and the SLIDESHOW HERE!
