Seniors are so much fun to photograph — and on this windy Friday, I am so glad that William was so tough.  The wind even threw some debris into his eye!  But after he took care of that, he was back up and ready for more images.  I love so many of these images, it was hard to choose which ones to place on the blog — but it had to be done.  :)  Thank you to William and his family for driving in from Nebraska for this Senior Session!

It was one of those perfect days — the temperature, a light breeze.  Nate had some killer style that fit great with the Urban downtown area, so I was really excited to photograph him!  He had recently returned from Belize (senior trip — pretty cool huh?), is heading out of state for college, and is taking Marketing as a career path.  I can tell he has a lot of success in front of him — good luck Nate!

I met Michael three years ago — when he was tagging along at his sister’s Senior session.  Imagine my surprise when I heard from Mom to say that it was his turn!  How could that be possible already!?  He knew he wanted the downtown-look for his session, so we made our way down to the West Bottoms.  Just a couple of outfits, + sister and Mom in tow, Michael was a blast to photograph.  Laid back and relaxed we walked around and got some great shots.  Have fun at K-State next year!

Now I love this — back in 2007 when I photographed Allie for her senior pictures…we captured an image of the two of them.  They thought it was only fitting to recreate the image…so here is the before/after.  Michael is quite a bit taller these days!

Talk about having fun — this session was a complete blast with my nephew Clayton!  He is a country-guy at heart, so we knew just the spot for these images.  He was game for all of the crazy stuff I wanted to try, including crawling into a dark/creepy barn with the most random stuff all over.  Then I wanted to light him with a couple of flashes, while he was in the air on his 4-wheeler…talk about a challenge!  But he was up for it, and jumped about 12 times until we finally got exactly what I wanted.  SO FUN!  Thanks for rockin’ it out Clayton, and enjoy the slideshow here!

On one of the first NICE days of Spring I was able to meet Brittany, her Mom (a good friend of mine), and her BFF down in the West Bottoms for a Senior Session!  A few years back, I also photographed her sister, so it is always fun to reunite with families to hear the latest.  Brittany was so much fun, and was ready for all of the locations that I had in mind for her.  She rocked her high-heeled boots, and even did some climbing in them!  Gotta love that…
