Ainsly | 1-Year Session

Yet another little one is finished with her First Year Program — and that’s Miss Ainsly! I remember her first session like it was yesterday. She wasn’t all that excited about the camera then, but now she is a major pro! Wait until you see all the smiles from her One Year session. And the cupcake? She tackled it like a champion! I love that her Mom included some hand-made accessories from Lulu & Dru (her company, blog post coming soon), and the broach was her great-grandmother’s. Some more cool news is that one of Ainsly’s newborn images was selected for a Paper Source ad campaign…exciting!

Looking back it is amazing how much she has changed: Newborn, 4-Months, 8-Months and now ONE YEAR!

Mia | 1-Year Session

Once Mia figured out that I was fun — and not scary — she was ready for her close-up! Her eyes are definitely gorgeous, and all of the comments on Facebook show that everyone agrees. Can you believe that this baby girl is now ONE YEAR OLD?!

I got to bring some new things to this shoot that I wanted to try, including my giant reflector-panel (used both as a reflector AND a backdrop) and some ribbon-on-a-stick, just to see what we could do. LOVE IT!

I have the best clients

After a Baby’s First Year session — the fourth and final portrait is always a little “bittersweet”. You cannot help but become friends with the parents, and feel a connection to the little one that you have watched grow over those initial 12 months! So imagine my surprise when I arrived for Daniel’s 1-year session (coming soon), and Jessica had a gift for me…
She had sewn a custom camera-strap cover for me! Complete with my logo embroidered on the end…WOW! It was love at first sight. And her attention to detail with all of my brand colors throughout — there are no words! And to top it all off, she took/sent me a photo of Daniel and I from the end of the session. I simply love it…

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Without you wonderful clients, this job wouldn’t be the same…

Carter | 1-Year Session

Could it possibly be that little Carter is one…year…old?! I am constantly amazed at how quickly time is passing along. It doesn’t seem like all that long ago that I was photographing Danielle and Brent’s wedding day, and now they are the proud parents of this sweet little boy. And the song they selected…so sweet!

Betsy + Ben | Wedding at Long Beach Island, NJ

Oh my goodness — where do I begin with this beautiful destination wedding?! Not only was the day beautiful — windy & beautiful — but all of the love between Betsy, Ben, and their closest family and friends could almost be touched it was so strong. I love weddings like that! Betsy’s details were amazing…earrings from her Great-great-great Grandmother made in the 1800′s, with a veil made of fabric flown over from Italy. A stunning bride, who is so genuine! The trip was great fun for me too, as I was reunited with several of my past brides/grooms. Oh, and groomsmen who are now “Pros” at being in weddings photographed by me. I had some fun with the cigars, and I was thrilled they were willing to let me try some new stuff with lighting. Did I mention I got up super early day (Dave too!), to snag an image of their wedding sunrise?
