April & Brian | Expecting

Sunday morning had this AMAZING fog…if you follow me on Instagram you saw I went a little crazy…but it was PERFECT for a photo session. So imagine how thrilled I was to be meeting up with two of my favorite people on the planet! And I’m not just saying that because they brought me a Pumpkin-Starbucks drink, I swear! I’ve known Brian since elementary school, and April for 6 years or so. They were Engagement clients, then Wedding clients, and have referred more amazing people to me than I can count. When they are guests at a wedding I’m shooting — they go above and BEYOND to help me out. Brian even stood in the rain holding an umbrella over my gear while I shot Sarah & Brian’s wedding. SO I LOVE THEM. Their little guy will be joining my First Year program — I cannot wait to meet him!!

Quintin | 3-Year Session

Well he isn’t QUITE 3-years old yet — but it is very close! And the best news of all — he’s getting a baby brother either very close to or ON his birthday in October! Quintin has always been a little firecracker…and he’s growing up faster than my camera can catch. Slow down little Q-man! This family is always a blast to reconnect with, and I’m so excited for baby boy #2 to be joining the First Year program soon. Thank you so much Dan & Angie!

Meagan & Eric | Expecting

I’ve known Meagan for several years now — & she is an incredible Aesthetician (ask me for her contact info if you are looking around for some amazing skin-treatments/waxing/etc)! Well her and Eric are expecting their first little one — A GIRL — very soon. I was so excited for this session because this is a rock-inspired couple. Eric is a drummer, and Meagan had these amazing pieces from Evil Pawn Jewelry that really made this session them. Of course near the end, Eric had me cracking up doing that silly “head-on-the-stomach” pose…I had to snap it! I cannot wait to meet baby Vivian!

Jillian | Family + Expecting Session

If you go back into the archives a little bit, you will find sweet baby Jillian at 8-Months old HERE…
It dn’t seem like that long ago, until I saw her long flowing hair as she ran towards me in the park for her session. Incredible! Jillian has fought hard, and spent a lot of time in the hospital as a little-one…but you would never know it now to see her full of energy and spunk! We also were not allowed to say the word “picture”, because in the Hospital that meant X-rays and she hated those…so we changed it to “photos” in order to keep her happy. What a sweetheart…
She will be welcoming a baby brother to her life soon, and Mom & Dad couldn’t be happier. I cannot wait to meet him when he joins the Baby’s First Year program!

Abby | 2-Year Session

Remember sweet little Abby from the Baby’s First Year program? Well she is TWO, and expecting a little sibling now!
We met on a brisk morning for this session, and after a little warming-up Abby had lots of smiles. She is going to make a great big sister. I cannot wait to see her helping Mommy! There is one image of a non-smiley Abby that you HAVE to see in the slideshow…apparently I’m not funny ALL the time!
