I knew within’ the first few minutes of meeting this family that there were going to be lots of laughs.  Everyone was in good spirits, and just happy to be together!  The weather was pretty nice for late-November, and we walked through the sunny park getting all of the family combinations we could think of.  :)  There was a little scare at the end for me, when I thought that I had lost Brandon’s sunglasses.  I thought my lens-bag was a good place to store them, but luckily he found them in the thousands of leaves as soon as he walked over to see what I was looking for…

I cannot wait for Brooke to have her little one…you will be seeing this new family on the blog again soon!  Enjoy the slideshow here!

Another fun little piece about this shoot — is a former Groom of mine Zach (September 2007).  He is currently taking a photography course, and had an assignment to shadow a photographer.  He came along and actually took pictures of the happenings — and I love this shot he got!  PS:  He was shooting FILM!

Within’ the first couple minutes of meeting Angie and Dan, I knew that we were going to get along.  I love the way they interact with one another — and we all share a love of sarcasm for sure. :)  They are expecting their little one soon, and I was so excited when Angie stepped out of the car in her gorgeous blue and brown dress!  They put the locations all in my hands, so I got to try some new places.  I LOVE so many of the images…thank you both for allowing me to capture this exciting time.  Slideshow here!

I love Megan so much — and when she called me for her 2nd baby’s “Expecting” session I was thrilled.  Being a fellow artist, she completely trusted me to create images in and around her home.  It was wonderful!  It was an overcast day, threatening some rain — but this green neighborhood had a garden they all share, and a cozy feeling to it that created the perfect landscape for images.  They are also doing a TON of home-renovation (all by themselves!!) so I wanted to include that in some shots too!  After some images of Megan, Ryder woke up from his nap and was ready for some playtime…even if he was more interested in sticks than me. :)  Cannot wait to meet your new little boy or girl!  Blogshow!

The blog is going to be really busy this week, if you couldn’t tell!!

The baby in the basket — that is just what this sweet Stella was the day of her shoot!  My best friend gave birth to baby number two (remember her recent maternity/family pics), and now they are getting ready to move out of state.  My thoughts are with her as all of these changes happen in her life — and I know that it will be a scary, but great life-move for her and her family!  Stella looks just like Calvin did for his newborn — and Dad is already wondering how soon this little girl will break his heart… I love that they do not find out boy vs. girl until the day they are born!  I will miss you so much, but count on me coming out that way to visit!  Blog show!
