If you follow me on Twitter, you saw the #GonnaBeAlbright tag this past weekend…A LOT.  It isn’t every weekend that two of your great friends marry one-another, and I took full advantage of being a guest.  As in, no camera but my iPhone4S the entire weekend!  I thought that I would post just a few images from the celebration…it was incredible.  Congratulations to Mark and Lauren — we love you guys!

(To explain the hashtag, their last name is Albright — so the hashtag is a clever mix of ‘Going to be alright’ and the fact that her new last name is now Albright!)

So the blog has been a little quiet again — and this time it’s because Dave and I traveled to Mexico for a week!  It was so fun using my iPhone (with Instagram) to capture the scenes, and I thought I would share some images.  There are TONS of sessions just waiting to make a blog appearance…all coming soon!

It’s been awhile since I had a personal post — probably because I have been so busy working!   But last weekend I took some personal time to host my sister’s wedding shower during the day, and then her bachelorette party that evening.  It was a total blast!  My mother, and sister’s-best friend Kristen got together the week before to do some serious crafting.  We made pinwheels, a swag with her wedding monogram, and made other plans for the food/dessert/drink/and other details that go into a perfect afternoon-shower.  It was a lot of work, but it was all worth it the moment she saw it all the day-of!  I can neither confirm, nor deny that there were tears…

I cannot wait for her big day — she is going to be such a beautiful bride, and her and Jared are a perfect match.
And since I am the Matron of Honor, I will NOT be working!

When the weather is dark/gray/rainy — and you have to postpone your photo shoots, it means some sister-time…
After a run through Starbucks, I grabbed Abbey and forced her into my crazy idea of feather-extensions!  Thanks so much to Ashley at ZENERGY for getting us in super-quick, and giving us an awesome new look for the next couple of months!
(they attach to a section of your own hair, and you can wash/dry/curl them just like you would normally!)

Yep — our furry-kid turns 3 years old today (21 in dog-time)!
Doesn’t everyone put their pet on a dining room table and photograph them??  Wait no?  Oh…then maybe they don’t all have a TWITTER…?
