kansas city engagement | Susie + David

It was an overcast day last Sunday, with a touch of wind to boot.  I drove to Susie and David’s home to start their engagement session — it is the spot of his proposal — and knew right off the bat we were going to have some fun.  These two are both super easy-going, and I swear I haven’t laughed that hard during a session in a long time!  I love when I get to work with couples who are just as sarcastic as I am… 🙂

They have a special porch-swing in their backyard, where David asked Susie to marry him.  They also have their initials carved into this hand-made swing…so of course we used it in a few images!  The rest of the shoot we walked around the park cracking jokes, and just hangin out really.  I cannot wait for their wedding…David will have me laughing again I am sure.  Enjoy the slideshow, and my faves!
