The last really nice day we had in Kansas City was made for this sweet little girl. February 1 we met at the park, and walked around with no coats to play in the sunshine! Breanna has grown up so much, and has the cutest expressions when you ask her about Santa, or when Daddy pops his gum (she like to pop the bubble). Thank you again for being so patient on these images while I was under-the-weather!
How fun would it be to grow up playing at KU’s Allen Fieldhouse? If you are a KU-fan, then BEYOND awesome! These guys had a blast running/crawling around for basketballs, and it was incredible to have the whole place to ourselves. Mom works for the Women’s basketball team (who’s have a great year BTW) and I love that it gave us the opportunity to shoot in such a meaningful place.
I was sick with a nasty virus all last week — so I appreciate the patience on this post (and others). I’m feeling back to normal, so this is going to be a BUSY week of shooting to make-up for the reschedules!
Penelope’s 18-month session was just wonderful — she had smiles for days. From the moment we began until the very end she was so happy! It made it extra-fun for me, and I think she managed to have some fun too… 
The most exciting part, is that Penelope will be welcoming a little sibling to her family soon…and I’m thrilled to continue documenting them! Here’s to a great weekend everyone…stay warm!
When Mom told me we were going to be shooting her 2-year old on some old tractors — I knew it was going to be a super-fun session! And not just for me, but also for 2-year-old Beckhem! He had a blast in his Hard hat, construction vest, and there was even a mini-tractor (John Deere of course) that we placed next to a full-size piece of machinery…it was amazing. Beckhem had SOOO much fun, that he started to cry when it was time to leave…even though it was kinda chilly outside! I cannot wait to share all of the images…
Teeny tiny Miles isn’t quite so teeny-tiny anymore! When I walked through the door for his 4-month session I could barely believe my eyes…and it really hit home when we placed the bow-tie on him. As a newborn that bow-tie was HUGE and now we could barely place it around his neck! So amazing…and he rocked the tummy-time for these images. I cannot wait to get this family outdoors for him 8-month session…
