When I walked through the door to see Ryan again for her 4-month session, I was blown-away by how much she’s changed! Of course she still has all of that dark hair, and a sweet smile that will melt your heart. I have some fun plans in the works for her 8-month session already…and it will be here before you can blink! And thanks to Mr. Bear for being a 4th “adult” and holding my reflector, as well as Baby Ryan for some of the images… 
Elizabeth and I go back a few years (not going to share just how many) — but you may recall I photographed her wedding on a gorgeous day in 2007. When I received a sweet letter in the mail, showing a copy of a sonogram and asking for a better-lit portrait, I was so excited! Well Presley has made her appearance, and she is breathtaking. And a good sleeper to boot (during the day according to Mom)… She is the newest member of the Baby’s First Year plan, and I cannot wait to watch her grow. Congratulations to Elizabeth & Kyle!

Last week when Jill told me about her idea for Finn’s 8-month session, I was 100% on board! Apparently this sweet guy is VERY happy when it’s bath time. So Jill found a great tub, prepared some bubbles, and Finn was smiles for days! Really, he was smiley for almost the whole session…and spoiled me BIG TIME. There has always been a cute hat for Finn’s session, and the elephant one for this session was no exception. ADORABLE! See you soon for 1-year Finn!

Usually it is almost sad when it’s time for the LAST session in a Baby’s First Year — but in this case it was actually very happy. Why? Because Lisa is expecting a little BOY this June, and he will also be on the First Year plan!! I couldn’t be happier for this family, and cannot wait to see Avie as a big sister. Of course we have to reminisce how quickly Avie has grown-up though, right?

I just love when a little one works so hard to hold their head up — because I’m sure that it is exhausting! Maura did great at tummy-time, and those gorgeous blue eyes were just shining! The weather was so nice outside that I had big-brother run around with his toy cars for a bit too. It seems like just yesterday that he was this age and I was photographing HIM as a baby! Maura definitely loves watching her big brother, and will be chasing him around before we know it…
