Not quite a week ago, I met Amanda and Ryan downtown for their engagement session!  Amanda let me know that she had a super-fun dress to start the shoot it — and she braved the cold breezes to make it work.  I always love a determined bride!  We had a quick outfit change and continued our tour of the Crossroads, and had a great time all around.  Even Ryan thought that it was a good time…so I think he is ready for pictures on his wedding day!  Enjoy the Blog Show!

And I had some more fun with experimentation at the end of the shoot!

Sunday was SUCH a beautiful afternoon — and I met Lisa and Dave out at Loose Park for their engagement session!  Even though we are near the end of October, the trees out there are still pretty green, but we managed to find the couple of fall-colored trees and use them for these images.  Lisa and David have a great chemistry that you can see through the SLIDESHOW here — and I cannot wait for their wedding day!

I absolutely LOVE the Crossroads area of downtown KC…and each time I am down there I see something different along with some favorite spots of color.  Heather and Ed were so much fun to work with — and you saw my little sneak image that they let me try at the end of their session — that turned out SO COOL!  I cannot wait to see their wedding come together with colors of Lavender and Concord, and after their E-Session I can guarantee it will be a great time!!   Enjoy the SHOW!

I love working with my Wedding couples for Engagement sessions!  Not only are they a great time, but it gives me a chance to work with them before the wedding day and see how they interact together.  Meredith and Nate were so much fun, since they interact in very much the same way that Dave and I do — full of laughs and loving-sarcasm!  I cannot wait for their wedding day since I know Meredith will be a gorgeous bride, the guys are going to be in khaki suits, and the main colors are brown and champagne (beautiful!).  They were so easy-going and had a great time at the park!
