Just a couple hours from now…exactly three years ago today…I married the most incredible guy on earth. The one who gets me, understands my “crazy”, and is supportive of me in every way. I never knew marriage could be this amazing…and for that, I thank you Dave. 
Here’s to many more years of laughter, in the way only YOU can make me smile!

Remember newborn Beckham? Well it was time for his 2nd session of the Baby’s First Year program…and his big sister Berkley was having her 2nd Birthday as well!
Hard to believe her 1-Year session was so long ago…
The first spot we went to for pictures was WINDY. Not just a breeze, but a blow-your-hair-all-over-your-face windy. So after a quick location-change, we were set and ready for some favorite images from the shoot. The kids did SO well playing with me and the props I brought along! Thanks again Kristeena and Chris for being so wonderful!
Oh Miss Abby — it was so exciting to have a session outdoors with you!
She smiled, she giggled, she crawled everywhere that we would let her. She has grown up so much since that first session many months ago. I love that Mom brought along some of her stuffed animals (those amazing owls) and her One Year birthday dress! It was a great session…and of course I had to include the one SAD picture because it was too cute. I cannot get the song “It’s my party, and I’ll cry if I want to…” out of my head now!
Happy Monday everyone! Today is the official start of my “stay-cation” week…and what better way to kick it off than with a beautiful wedding at a local winery!
Stacie and Matt planned their destination wedding for Hermann, MO, at the Stone Hill Winery. It was a gorgeous location, and I was beyond excited as soon as I drove into the venue. Stacie was relaxed as could be, laughing and telling stories as her hair and makeup were done. The First Moment with Matt was super-sweet, and they (along with their wedding party) were so tough as we walked around outside in the heat & humidity! The best part was being able to work in the cellar underground…and WOW I love those images! The ceremony was very personal and touching — lots of happy-tears were shed. And the reception? Dancing galore, followed by an after-party!
To Stacie and Matt…I want to thank you for including me on your special day. I felt more like family than a vendor for your occasion, and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the gesture. It was a true honor!
As a side-note — Stacie is an amazing graphic designer, who did her own amazing illustration work for the details of her wedding (seen in the slideshow)! She will be offering her services to any brides who are interested…so let me know and I can pass along her contact information.
Have you noticed that the blog has been a BUSY place lately? So many cute little ones waiting their turn on the blog…and now it’s Newborn James’ turn!
He has just joined the Baby’s First Year club…and in the next sessions his Dad and sister will be joining the fun. He was very interested in me and the giant camera I had in his face…but after that became boring he decided to snooze a little for me. We had the best of both worlds for his session!
