Lucy + Sydney | Family Session

One of the “perks” of my job, is watching families change and grow — especially the little ones. When I think about Miss Lucy, this is the image that comes to mind (from May 2007):

A favorite from my first session with this family. They have added another sweet girl to the bunch (remember Sydney’s newborn session?), and she is crawling closer and closer to 1-year old. Time for a photo shoot! I am pretty sure this girl took her first steps a few days after these images were taken. It is always a pleasure to see friends and catch-up, especially when their kiddos are as sweet as these two!

Sarah + Brian | Wedding Day

When it rains, it pours…and that is just what happened on the day of Sarah and Brian‘s wedding day.
Yet despite the weather — and the fact that it was to be an outdoor ceremony — these two were incredible. Sarah’s smile never faded, and Brian was more than ready to see his bride. Their First Moment was truly special, and one of my favorite images I have from one of those! It is a pure and true moment, and I love that. We were able to utilize the inside-area of the barn at Fresh Air Farm, while wonderful people like Brian and April held umbrellas over my cameras for me. I could not have created these images without you two — thank you from the bottom of my heart!

We are planning to go back out there with these two, so we can use all of the gorgeous property of Fresh Air Farms, so stay tuned later in the month for those. In the meantime, enjoy the Slideshow of their Day here!

As her bridesmaids were fastening her dress together, there was a loud POP as something snapped (which was later fixed by the wonderful Betsy!) and this was Sarah’s reaction…priceless!

If there was any doubt regarding the amount of rain…

Betsy gave a heartfelt toast — I cannot wait to photograph her wedding in New Jersey this Fall!

Christine + Alex | E-Session

Christine and Alex are a couple that have wonderful chemistry together. As soon as you see them with one another, you just know that they are meant to be! They have been together for about 7 years now, and they are both anxious to finish school (Christine – Optometry, Alex – Dental) to begin their lives together as husband and wife. These two had complete trust in me for some fun locations, and even brought along their furry-child Cooper! I cannot wait for their wedding next June…

the “L” Family!

I had the absolute pleasure of working with this family back in October of 2007 — and wow have the kids grown up! Andrew was just a baby, and Annabelle is becoming such a beautiful young girl! If you follow me on Twitter, I know you saw the little “sneak” of Annabelle in my brown felt hat — it is an absolute favorite. Mom was having a Graduation weekend, so the whole family was in town. Getting a Masters with two children and a full-time job is no small feat…wow!
Congratulations Rebecca! I had a wonderful time with your family, and look forward to seeing you again in the future!

Maxwell | Newborn Session

Remember Miss Lily and her sweet blonde hair? Well she is a new Big Sister — and what a great little helper she is! I have photographed a LOT of 2-3 year olds with their new baby siblings, but Lily had to be one of the best at holding still, and making sure Maxwell was doing ok on her lap. Too sweet! The day of this session (2 days ago) was rather gloomy, so I got to bust out the lighting this time around…and I like the results!
