Julia + Jimmy | E-Session

I love when my clients are brave, and unafraid of the elements…especially when it comes to snow. I had the pleasure of meeting up with Julia and Jimmy for their session out at Loose Park — where Jimmy asked Julia to marry him! It was cold, and we walked through a LOT of snow (not to mention some other things) and had lots of laughs. It is so much fun to just watch these two smile at one another — they are definitely meant to be! I even love the “rivalry” of the colleges, that Jimmy really wanted included at the end of the session — please note the t-shirts. Enjoy their slideshow here and I cannot wait for their wedding day!

Belle | 4-Month Session

Have I mentioned how much I love the Baby’s First Year product? {sigh} It is so amazing to watch these little ones grow, and Belle is certainly loving her camera time!

Nobody forgets the baby-in-a-basket from her Newborn session. And just when you thought she couldn’t get any cuter, just look at this face!! She is a major contender for happiest baby I have ever worked with, and when I get to spend time with this family I am smiling the entire time. They are lovely, and genuine people that always make me feel welcome. Thank you both so much!

I was lucky enough to celebrate a First Birthday yesterday with this little sweetheart…and here is one of my favorite images from the session!Of course you notice her adorable face, made-with-love onesie with tutu, and wonderful rainbow baby legs. But the more you look at the image, you notice the background and start to grasp all of the things this family is. Daddy’s piano, one of the family cats, a wedding picture on the wall…all of the things that make up this little girls’ HOME.

Beats a solid background any day…

Trey | 8-Month Session!

Is everyone out there in blog-land ready for me to start shooting again? I hope so, because there is a lot planned in the near future!

Right after Christmas — seems like forever ago — I photographed this sweet little guy. Trey was ready to be photographed, because he started crawling for the first time during his session! I guess he just wanted it to be documented professionally… This was his third session out of four in the Baby’s First Year program (Session 1 and Session 2), and I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will finally get to go outside for his 1-Year. the Birdcage Veil

There is just something about a Birdcage Veil that makes my eyes light up. A little bit vintage, a little bit modern — I admit having a crush on them…

It appears that lots of you do too! From Vanessa & Chris’ wedding, I have had a lot of brides ask me where she found her veil, pictured here.
