and ended like this (yes, those are my sunglasses).

I would say it was a good day.

The photography industry is so unique (to say the least) — and part of what I love is the friendship and camaraderie.  I know you are all aware of the Photogirls, since we gather each and every year to get away, yet motivate one another to do more in our lives and businesses.  Well two of my gals have some KEWL things going on that I wanted to share!

1.  Maile of Relish Photography
If you don’t already read her blog — go out there and add her to your Reader!  She has just released a major project that has been in the works for the past two years.  A brand spankin’ new camera bag that has STYLE all over it.  I am thinking perhaps she should design bags in general, no?  They are just incredible, and I cannot wait to get my hands on one!  Read more about them at her blog post here.  And check out the first images she shared with us PGs!

2.  Brooke Mayo
Who can ever forget the sweetest girl in the South, Brookie!  She is releasing her first ever BOOK — featuring her amazing images of doggies underwater.  If you or someone you know loves dogs this would make a great gift.  Here is a little bit more  about the book, straight from the artist!

Within’ the first couple minutes of meeting Angie and Dan, I knew that we were going to get along.  I love the way they interact with one another — and we all share a love of sarcasm for sure. :)  They are expecting their little one soon, and I was so excited when Angie stepped out of the car in her gorgeous blue and brown dress!  They put the locations all in my hands, so I got to try some new places.  I LOVE so many of the images…thank you both for allowing me to capture this exciting time.  Slideshow here!

I met up with Sarah and Brian in downtown Parkville…and what a little gem of a town that is!  Sarah saw the images I had taken there for Meredith and Nate’s wedding, and since she has some ties there it was perfect.  It happened to be Brian’s birthday, and he had just received the COOLEST gift a guy could ask for…a kegerator!  Way to go Sarah! :)  And we had to end the shoot with some of their furry friends — which is also fitting since Sarah is a vet.  Too bad the cats couldn’t join the shoot too.  :)  Cannot wait for the wedding day you two!  Blogshow!
