Jennifer | Expecting

My great friend Jennifer was in town this past weekend for our 10-year High School Reunion, Calvin’s 1st birthday, AND her husband’s little shin-dig for his 30th.  So we decided while she was here that we should take her “Expecting” pictures, because she isn’t coming home again until after the baby is born!  I love seeing my friends become parents — and I love that get to capture all of the many phases of their lives.  I took Jennifer and Kris’ engagement pictures back when I was film (in college)!  Enjoy the sneak peek and the Slideshow — and I cannot wait to meet “Festus” (that is the baby’s nickname since they are waiting to find out boy vs girl)!

April & Brian’s Wedding Day

On July 19th, in Jefferson City, MO April & Brian had a wonderful and heartfelt wedding — and I felt so lucky to be a part of it.  I met up with the wedding party at the hotel early in the day, and just enjoyed the company as they made me feel like FAMILY!  These two wanted lots of images together, so they saw each other before the ceremony — Brian’s face is priceless.  It was a great moment, and then we were off to the local spots for some FUN and HOT images. :)   Everyone really did amazing, considering the guys were absolutely drenched after a few minutes of being outside.  Since I was staying in Jeff City the night of the wedding, they invited me to dance and celebrate with them — which was so sweet!  I had a wonderful time, and love so many of their images.  Check out the slideshow right here — you will see that April surprised Brian by singing a song to him during the reception.  It was so sweet…I teared up just watching!

Funny story about this next image — there was a bee floating around their flowers, and this was on of the reactions!  I think April was just going to attack it with her bouquet!
(for you photogs, the above image is the new TRAv2 some Clairify and Pool Party!)
Congratulations you two!

Kristin + Ben’s Wedding Day

The wedding day that started out POURING rain could not have ended more perfectly.  Kristin had a smile on her face the entire day, from the moment I walked in until I left the reception — a little rain wasn’t going to get her down!  They were married at the Immaculate Conception Church downtown, and they made sure there was PLENTY of time for pictures following.  We started at Union Station, then to Liberty Memorial, and finally to the Fountain on Ward Parkway.  The wedding party was a blast (even her eldest brother, who was a bit of a brat… :) ) and the couple did all that I asked of them without question.  It was a perfect day, and an amazing party — so be sure to check out the slideshow so you can see the reception details!  ENJOY!

Tidbit:  Kristin is a ballet dancer AND teacher — at the same dance school I attended most of my life!
I am in LOVE with this wedding party shot!
Congratulations you two — and thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding day!
