So you may recall my post about Andy, the man behind Interwoven Threads.  His business is all about helping people — buy one shirt and a shirt is donated to reStart here in Kansas City, MO.  I have already purchased three of them (two for Dave, one for me, and they are AWESOME!).  Well, I wanted to help this organization as well, and I thought it would be easiest just to copy his letter into this blog post to get more people involved.

"Here’s the scoop friends. Interwoven Threads is getting ready to donate some threads to reStart for its Holiday Store. The store is a wonderful, heartwarming event where clients can shop donated gifts to give to their families during the holiday season. As I’ve said many times before, the diversity of needs and life situations at reStart is humbling. This event offers a chance for folks to be part of the season and provide their families and loved ones with quality gifts.

I need your help. Without purchase, there’s no donation.

I’ll donate the shirts on Tuesday. That night, my wonderful photographer friend (and darn talented do-betterer) Rebecca Peters (www.rpetersphotography.com) will be taking complimentary holiday photos for the families and clients attending the Holiday Store. Very good of her, and the first opportunity of this kind for reStart.

So I encourage all of you to either donate to this organization, or buy a cool T-shirt!  It is the perfect way to kick-off the holidays by helping others in our community. 

Tuesday afternoon I had the pleasure of meeting this little guy — and he was SO cute!!  You know I love all those baby faces, and he was workin’ it for the camera for sure.  He even held his head up for a long time for some of these pictures — amazing for a 1-month old!  How do you pick favorites of a cute little one?  It is hard work, but here they are along with his SLIDESHOW!

This one he was changing into outfit #2, and I had to catch that cute expression!

Dad had never seen Nicholas do this before — and said that he has graduated from Dolphin Baby to Super Baby!

I am still playing around with those textures a bit — leave a comment about what you think of them!  Here is one picture with some texture added, and we wanted to show scale of little Nicholas in the big chair!

I am a firm believer in Nike Shox — these shoes are just amazing for my knees, which tend to hurt after running awhile.  So 3 pairs later, I decided to FINALLY create my own pair on NikeID.com!  Here is a glimpse, and they should get here before Christmas!  I even wrote "PhotoGal" on the back of the shoe…so fitting!

I have a session tomorrow, and three on Saturday all with BABIES!
